Regional Express Train (TER)

First export experience in the field of public works, FAMY SENEGAL demonstrates its know-how by participating in the TER project which links Dakar to AIBD airport, as a subcontractor for EIFFAGE SENEGAL and EIFFAGE-RAIL. EIFFAGE SENEGAL entrusts FAMY SENEGAL with full-mass excavation work as well as adjustment work on the technical sub-layers. In order to meet these challenges, FAMY SENEGAL has mobilized different levels of earthworks... The full-body excavation site was mainly carried out using a 90T excavator used to load a fleet of semi-trailers. Adjustments of the laterite capping layers and base layers in 0/31.5 were thus carried out with three 30T graders equipped with 3D GPS guidance. Drainage ditches were also built as part of this project on behalf of Eiffage Rail.
